Privacy Policy

3 Beans Studio ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it when you use Clay & Fire or visit our website.

1. Data You Create in the App

All project data, photos, notes, firing logs, and material records you create in Clay & Fire are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this content.

Optional cloud sync: If you connect Google Drive for backup, your data is stored in your own Google Drive account under your control. We do not receive or store copies of it.

2. Analytics

We use analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. This includes events such as:

• App installs and first launches
• Button interactions — including Amazon product links, share features, and donation buttons
• General feature usage patterns

Analytics data is anonymous and aggregated. It does not include your name, email, or the content of your projects. It is used solely for product improvement and is never sold or used for advertising.

3. Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically detect and report app crashes. When a crash occurs, a report is sent that may include:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version
• The state of the app at the time of the crash (stack trace)
• Time and date of the crash

Crash reports do not include your name, email address, or any content you have entered in the app. They are used exclusively to identify and fix bugs.

4. Third-Party Services

The following third-party services process data on our behalf. Each is governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Google Drive (optional, if you enable cloud sync) — policies.google.com/privacy

5. Contact Form

If you send us a message via the website contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to your inquiry.

6. What We Never Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising or build advertising profiles
• We do not collect your location
• We do not share your data with anyone except the service providers listed above

7. Data Security

Your pottery data lives on your device and, optionally, in your own cloud storage. Analytics and crash data are transmitted securely to Firebase using industry-standard encryption.

8. Children's Privacy

Clay & Fire is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

Your in-app data (projects, photos, notes) is entirely under your control — delete it by deleting the app. Analytics and crash data are anonymised and not linked to you personally. For contact form submissions, email us to request deletion.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices. We will note the revision date at the top of this page.
